Community Awareness and Social Responsibility Programs of KPI Nepal
Kathmandu Professional Institute (KPI Nepal) is committed to providing quality professional education while also contributing to society through awareness, community engagement, social responsibility, and educational initiatives.
Although KPI Nepal is well known for Montessori Teacher Training, ECD, and other career-oriented programs, our mission goes beyond classroom education. We believe true education should empower people to make informed decisions, protect themselves and others, and contribute positively to society.
Under the leadership of Mr. Anand Devkota, President/Founder of KPI Nepal, the organization regularly supports and conducts educational, awareness, and social activities that connect learning with real-life community issues.
Community Awareness Program
As part of this commitment, KPI Nepal jointly organized a Community Awareness Program on the Prevention of Human Trafficking, Unsafe Migration, and Online Sexual Exploitation of Children in Nepal with Opportunity Village Nepal (OVN), with support from Good Shepherd International Foundation Nepal.
More than 100 students and alumni from KPI Nepal’s Kalanki and Bagbazar centers participated in the program. Participants gained practical knowledge about human trafficking, foreign employment fraud, unsafe migration, deceptive job offers, online safety, child protection, and legal awareness.
Education Beyond the Classroom
KPI Nepal believes education should extend beyond textbooks and certificates. Through various awareness and social programs, students gain knowledge about important issues affecting individuals, families, and communities.
These initiatives also help develop leadership, communication, critical thinking, confidence, empathy, and social responsibility—qualities that are essential for responsible professionals and citizens.
